National Register

The National Register of Historic Places was created by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966.

In Missouri, this program is administered by the Missouri State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). A page on the SHPO website lists all of the sites in Boone County listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
